[Flash-info] Power outage at Rungis: Beware of the temperature of the cold rooms

Food Hygiene News 12 April 2021

On Tuesday morning of January 21, a power cut claimed by the CGT affected the Rungis sector as well as the town of Orly. The blackout only lasted an hour before power was restored.

This cut-out is however sufficient for the temperature of cold rooms and other refrigerating devices to increase and to go beyond regulatory standards guaranteeing the safety of food in restaurants.

The traqfood connected temperature sensors allow us to deal with this type of unforeseen situation by being alerted in real time by SMS of variations in the temperature of your refrigeration devices and thus take the appropriate measures to preserve the safety of your goods.
